An internally conducted Colleague Survey measured over 200 colleague responses to find out more about the workforce that drives Hadland Care Group- the umbrella company for Aspire Training Team and Tops Day Nurseries.
Hadland Care Group prides itself on being a forward-thinking, progressive company. An important aspect of that is having a progressive team.
We place a high emphasis on career progression, and actively promote the various pathways that can be taken to advance someone’s career, whether that be in childcare, business administration, customer service, or leadership & management.
It is satisfying for us to see that over 90% of our colleagues feel that training is taken seriously across the company, and the vast majority were confident in their knowledge of what training was needed to achieve their desired progression.
The training our team undertake, whether that is by using their designated training allowance, or through opportunities presented whilst at work, improves our colleagues practices. Over 90% of our colleagues told us their managers supported their training, and they felt confident in their ability to achieve their desired progression.
As part of our initiative to encourage our colleagues to further their knowledge, we recently revamped our annual appraisal process to be replaced with Career Development meetings. Our hope is to ensure all colleagues have a training plan in place to support with their career advancement across the company.
