Hadland Care Group is a group of three companies operating throughout Dorset, Hampshire and Somerset, supplying care at every stage, via the provision of Nursery Care for children, Vocational Training and Residential Care for the elderly.

Hadland Care Group includes Tops Day Nurseries, Aspire Training Team and Reside Care Homes.

Tops Day Nurseries was founded by Cheryl Hadland in 1990, following an unsuccessful attempt to find high quality day care provision for her children.  Now there are 11 Tops Day Nurseries and 7 play clubs and it is Dorset’s most successful nursery business.

In 1998 Cheryl developed a second strand to the business and launched Beacon Award winning Training company, the Aspire Training Team, offering a range of courses all relating to working in a care environment. Aspire Training Team is the only training provider in the South to have ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted results and provides training support to the other groups.

In 2005, the company opened its first residential care home specialising in the care of people with dementia and then, three years later, it opened a second home. There is a vision to open a new home every year.

Today, Hadland Care Group employs 360 people and has in 2009 turned over more than £6m. Moving forward, it has ambitious plans to expand the chain further by providing additional opportunities for training in care and by working with new partners to develop additional sites for both nurseries and care homes across the South.
